Vid Of The Day: The Weinerlogues (NFSW!)

Oh how I love this. If Jane Lynch can add class to this, she can add class to anything. She even makes Bill Maher funny, which I never thought possible.

Extremely raunchy and unsafe for work.

  1. The only thing that would make that better is if it was Jon Stewart instead of Maher. Otherwise, genius!

  2. I like Maher but for the fact that he's a sugar nazi.

    Nicely done.

  3. At every opportunity he'll tell you how bad processed sugar is for you. He brings it up apropos of nothing if he can.

I haven't watched his show for a couple of years, and I liked Religulous, but cut with the sugar shit.

Now I know why Jane Lynch is a lesbian. That right there is enough to scare anyone off heterosexuality!

  5. Okay, I'm going to sound like a sugar Nazi, but all I mean to say is food purity nuts serve a purpose. If they make enough noise, then corporate organizations sit up and take notice or other companies rush in to fill the void they won't.

I like my sweets, but do we really need sugar in peanut butter or ketchup? It's all about getting kids hooked on certain foods so they'll line the pockets of irresponsible corporations, and we're the ones who pay for it.

Now if the alternatives weren't so frickin' expensive, I'd be happy.

Anyway, I rarely watch his show, so maybe the sugar Nazi stuff really is overboard, and I apologize for getting too political/edumacatin' or whatever on LOTD, 'cuz I know that's not what this place is about. It's just about hilarious posts like this.

  6. I didn't think it was possible that I could love Jane Lynch more. I have an on-again, off-again relationship with Bill, but this was great. They read it like a Disney script.

So much for Weiner's claims he didn't take any pictures of his boy howdy. Of course, they could have been blurry, what with the "bobbing up and down" and all.

  7. I don't like Maher, but that Jane Lynch could sure make a lesbian out of me!

  8. Calling Bill a sugar Nazi is perhaps a bit much, but I'd say it to his face. I'm not all about putting sugar in everything, but condemning refined sugar as the root of all evil is a bit much.

  9. Love Maher and Lynch so this was a joy to watch. Was that really the Weinergate texts? It was almost too much to believe. And regarding Sugar Nazi...I've never heard Maher talk about sugar. He us usually extolling the virtues of weed. Shows he truly is a natural, organic guy

  10. I have such a massive girl-crush on Jane it's unreal. That was hilariously wonderful.

As for sugar--no matter what anyone says, it's an addictive substance, and Americans eat faaaar too much of it. I can say that with all confidence, having observed up close what a lot of other cultures eat and enjoy for the last 12 years. I think the Italians are pretty close behind, however, judging by what I've seen them eat and drink on our visits there! I applaud Mr Maher's stand, but if he really mentions it as often as Lefty says (I don't get his show here), then he's defeating his purpose.

  12. I like sugar. And bacon. And wine. And Jane Lynch. I watched this the other night and was crying I was laughing so hard. Also? I can't log in to comment, either. Been that way for awhile now. But I'm here. Always lurking...
