11 U.S. Cities With The Ugliest People (Of The Day)

From Travel & Leisure, who ranked 35 major U.S. cities on numerous criteria, including best-looking and worst-looking residents. How did they choose? You'll have to ask them. I'm just the messenger. I'm sure they had a scientific method; these kinds of rankings aren't the least bit subjective.

  1. Well, my city isn't on the list, which must mean that those of us from Tampa are mediocre in the looks department. That's ok with me!

    1. I'm not a Tampa native, but I live among you wildebeasts now, and I can tell you objectively that you are among the ugliest people I've seen (and stupid, trashy bumpkins to boot).

  2. Memphis and Orlando? Yep. That's dead on.

Nashville? Well, okay. I hadn't noticed but I'll try to pay more attention. We still play "count the mullets" so this is a bit of a surprise.

I was in Savannah in April and come to think of it, there WERE a lot of pretty people walking around. With pretty dogs, too.

    1. Coastal cities always have the most attractive people, especially men walking around half-naked in speedos. But inland cities with lots of tourists, the same thing, except no one walks around half-naked because they are more diverse. If inland cities are just boring with little to no tourists like Atlanta, where I come from, yeah, the men are the least attractive, especially when there's nothing but rednecks and thugs.

  5. Philly at #3? Haven't they ever seen Eagles fans whining after a loss? I put 'em at #1 in my book.

  9. They couldn't do top ten and leave Boston out of it? Boo!

Not that I'm from Boston; I'm from somewhere between Portland, ME and Boston... hrm.

  10. Wow! Zing, Cary!

We didn't make either list. We'll just whistle past the graveyard with that one.

  11. 6. Honolulu

While Honolulu has the highest percentage of women walking around in bikinis, that don't always equate with attractiveness.

  12. Whoot! I hail from San Francisco. Other than that, Atlanta wasn't on the list. So I guess were "meh" too.

  16. There are more fun places on the "Attrative" list. Maybe it just that everyone looks better when they're smiling instead of shoveling their car out of a snow bank, running from a mugger, or sweating profusely.

I believe that picture was taken during the Short Man's Golden Age--when platform shoes were hot.

  17. Wow, my hometown #3 on the attractive list. Way to go Savannah!

  18. Oh yeah, KC #9 on least attractive. And, we also made it to the top 10 of least intelligent and most overweight, so at least we got that going for us.

  19. TOTALLY agree with Philly being on the ugly list. Been there several times and walking around Old City is like being trapped in the Land of 1000 Fucking Snookies.

Glad that Cleveland didn't make the ugly list! Yay for being a great big pile of "meh."

  20. This is got to be one of the most silly list ever its to many people in a city, to say Charleston's #1, Not from what I see there its a bunch of country bammas not attractive at all.

  21. I guess it matters what you think attractive is...I live in Baltimore and it is so true, ugly with absolutely no attractive style. When I moved here I was shocked...it really is noticeable!

  22. I agree with Baltimore being number 2! When I moved here it looked as if the majority were either on something or just sloppy all around. I always tell people here that their dimes out here are average anywhere else. Cali-ATL all day!

  23. I agree with the Baltimore being #2. I was born and raised here and unfortunately it is so true! Oodles of crackheads and junkies with missing teeth, old decrepid, depressed and oppressed looking ass people! Most of the men have no style and most of the women look like they dont comb their hair or shower! Yeah ....slim pickens...to say the least!!!

    1. Diversity makes people more attractive.

  25. Boston should be much higher on the ugly list. Boston women are snotty elitest wanna bees that are ugly on the inside and outside.

  26. Santa Fe on the ugly list? People are snotty to each other, but I wouldn't say they are ugly. It's a pretty fit town. Maybe I'm biased. I usually go there to ski, bike or hike. It is after all, home to Outside Magazine.

  27. Well, I am setting at the Wolfchase Mall in Memphis, TN. I totally agree and can testify why Memphis is ranked $1 in ugly women! All I see are fat dumpy ugly women go by. I'd say 1 in 20 might get a 5 on a scale 1 - 10 (10 being a fox). It didn't use to be like this 10 years ago. I don't know what happened? Well, I do but can't say it here.

In fact, while conducting my personal survey, it got so bad that I had to ask the question on google. It led me to this page. Boy, is the food court packed!!! ULK at all the ugly tubby looking women gathered in one place!

Also, I learned that our sister city Nashville is on the other list (10 most attractive). Now I know why I like going to Nashville.

  28. Ha ha I'm from Baltimore, my family moved their from the Appalachias. When our family was dressed to the nines on holidays most residents kids were sporting greasy mullets and koolaid stained faces and clothes. You have to remember Baltimore is a trap, it impoverish its citizens with fines, high cost of living and taxes, there is benzine, fluoride and arsenic in the water supply, many do not know how to read and write. They never ventured outside of their neighborhood and they know nothing about the world, nor do they care. I was working 3 jobs at one point, and still couldn't afford to make it. Baltimore has churned out sickly, disabled, people who I think are a product of being poisoned by air, food, water, and no education.

  29. Charleston born and raised! Whoop whoop! Guys and girls here are gorgeous. I'd say prettier than most celebs, and we don't have the $2000 a day makeup job either. The girls here are down to earth, funny, charming, and pretty. I can say our drawback is intelligence. We are smart, but not extremely! Please do keep in mind though, we have one of the worst education systems in the US. :/

  30. Atlanta has the ugliest men. Most of them are out of shape and poorly dressed. On top of that, the majority of them are White and Black rather than other races. It isn't that diverse. San Francisco has the best-looking men because most of them are in shape and well-dressed. It's more diverse. It's not always White and Black.
