The threat of violence might work well on children and amputees, but I'm not so sure it's a good way to sell coffee. I would ask Wilkins -- if they were still around.
Yes, that's Jim Henson.

Great commercials. Well, funny, anyhows.
That's also a great picture of Mala and Beck. Poor kid didn't know what he was getting into, coming to this country!
I didn't think it was possible, but Starbucks actually seems less evil now.
Someplace in my kitchen cupboard there is a coffee mug that says, "I'm a south west bad guy, and I had a bad idea." I have no idea where that coffee mug came from or what the saying on it means, but for some odd reason, watching these commercials made me think of that mug. HA HA HA! :D
It's a shame that Wilkins isn't around any more because I bet they could come up with a helluva 2 Girls, 1 Cup commercial.
They just kept getting more and more bizarre. I loved it.
Violence.
Uh... I - I'll have some Wilkins coffee? Please?
No wonder the 60s were so fucked up.
very interesting to see Kermit when he just emerged from his tadpole stage.
