HahahaHAahaahaaa! Idiots. Hate it when people can't (won't) spell traditional names right.

I hope that's just a typo...but I wouldn't be surprised if it it wasn't.

Love the yahoo answers! You've inspired me to take a similar route - I've gotten notified countless times trying to bring some humor to these crazy questions! I added you as a contact as well just to follow the responses, thx

Linds - either way, it's a problem.

D - thanks

Yeah, I think you got your Yahoo answers groove back:)

Laura, I don't mind non-trad names -- my child has one -- but if you can't spell the motherfucker...

OneBad (or RR, as I prefer) - thank you.

My name is spelled Jonathan, but I get tons of stuff with it spelled wrong. Most frequntly it's Jonathon or Johnathon.

Cary said...

I bet. And even if you shortened it to Jon, no one would get it right.

Try Cary... Carey, Kerry, Carrie, Cory, Gary, etc

You'd be amazed at how many people fail to grasp a simple concept, as is demonstrated in this common dialogue:

"Your name?"

"Stu."

"How do you spell that?"

"Three letters. Alphabetical order. Starts with 'S'."

< blank stare >

"S.T.U."

"Thanks."

"Don't mention it, Jah'Wahondah."

You'd think Melissa wouldn't be hard either. Nuh uh.

Cary too. Good point, Cary.

More more!

Anyone who asks what to name their kid on Yahoo! Answers deserves smart-aleck responses.

You're a genius, Cary.

I had a friend who works at a hospital tell me about a patient she met recently whose name was spelled "La-ea." My friend went in to greet the patient and pronounced the name "Laeea" and was promptly corrected by the mother. The name was pronounced "Ladashea." As in, the 'dash' wasn't silent!

WTF????
