the avalon song just made me want to jump off a cliff.
I love that song.
I'm more fond of the Modern English than the Roxies. Mel loves the Ferry, though. She's the soothing yin to my raging yang.
I've always loved that Modern English song, but all throughout the video I just kept thinking, "I bet that microphone STINKS!"
Avalon happens to be one of my favorite, favorite songs.....
Clearly we have good taste, Dr. T. That whole album is so lush and romantic.

Love 'em both, although the Modern English would probably be more my "go to" - but yeah, Avalon is romantic.
Dude - thanks for this. I am an unapologetic fan of Ferry and the mastery of his music. No matter what your tastes, you have to respect his artwork.
It makes me want to buy a new Mercedes and bang some really hot chick in a hotel I could never afford.
