My Favorite Video of 2007

Or any other year. This thing's ancient, but it still makes me laugh, because my child did the same thing on several occasions.

2007 Celebrity Deaths

Some notable people who shook off their mortal coil this year. A lot of actors I grew up with are on this list, from things like Bond, The Munsters, Bewitched, Newhart, Match Game (3 staples from that show went down this year), and Evel Knievel, who was a god. We're getting old, 70s kids.

Yvonne de Carlo - actress ("The Munsters"). Natural causes, January 8.

Art Buchwald - humorist and newspaper columnist (The Washington Post). Kidney failure, January 17.

Anna Nicole Smith - actress, spokesmodel and former Playboy Playmate. Drug overdose, February 8.

Ernest and Julio Gallo - co-founders of the E.&J. Gallo Winery, both died in 2007. Julio died February 17, Ernest on March 6. (I could make a joke here, but it would just be crass Gallos' humor.)

Roscoe Lee Browne - deep-voiced character actor. Cancer, April 11.

Kurt Vonnegut - author, died April 11 of complications from head injuries suffered during a previous fall in his home.

Don Ho - Hawaiian singer ("Tiny Bubbles"). Heart failure, April 14.
