What makes this even better is that apparently Marky Mark wasn't too thrilled with the portrayal. He told the New York Post:
Oh, waa. Does someone need his boo-boo bunny?
Someone showed [the clip] to me on YouTube. It wasn't like Tina Fey doing Sarah Palin, that's for sure. And "Saturday Night Live" hasn't been funny for a long time. They've asked me to do the show a ton of times. I used to watch it when Eddie Murphy was there and Joe Piscopo and Bill Murray. I don't even know who's on the show now.

Who's Mark Wahlberg?
(why do I think that might be the p-e-r-f-e-c-t comment)
Mark doesn't appreciate that comment, Reenie. He's gonna whine to the papers about you.
OMGeeze! I watched this when it aired and responded with a little 'meh...'
But then the following day watched The Happening. I couldn't stop laughing every time Marky Mark spoke.
I thought the skit was spot on. Say hi to your mother for me.
Spot on, indeed.
Does he realize he used to be a white rap artist? And that the whole world has seen his Calvin Kleins?
Really? This is what he's complaining about? He's probably had more good PR from this than from his last couple movies (and from what he'll get from "Max Payne").
And, uh, Joe Piscopo? Not really that funny.
Precisely. Thank them for the free PR and work on getting better projects.
Oh my God get over yourself. Put your big panties on - not such a stretch for Mr. Calvin Klein underpants. Be glad they took the time to mock you and enough of us remembered who you were to laugh. Tell your mother I said hello.
I thought it was funny...dead pan, and blah...just like the real Mark Wahlberg. Face it, guy...you're boring.
Cary, thanks for grabbing the link for the SNL sketches that we can watch in Canada! Appreciated!
Though it was a terrific impression of him, it was a boring sketch. I agree with Tracey - the only thing that saved it even a little bit was that we remember who he is.
wow - SNL has slipped even more than I thought possible...
It was a boring skit, yes. The goat was the only thing that kept me hanging on.
That being said...he's FINE!! I might be the only woman in America to think so...but damn! I'll watch anything he's in on mute. Invincible was a dream come true for me. Him...sweating...running....in the mud....sigh. I should go.
I laughed really hard at that skit when it aired. I was 17 when his big hit song "Good Vibrations" came out so I'll never be able to hear his name or see him without thinking about him dancing around in his underpants and HUGE jeans.
Love that "say hit to your mother for me"- such a polite Boston boy.
Jenn, you're not so bad yourself...sweating, running, in the mud...sigh back.
Get a chat room, you two.
