English pounds and Eskimo pence
I made a divorce cake once! It wasn't nearly as cool as these (I was, after all, just a grocery store decorator) but it was kind of fun.Two women were celebrating together. They brought in two of those cake toppers with the bride chasing the groom, with the characters separated. They wanted the figures arranged so that it looked like the bride was pushing the groom off the cake. It came out pretty OK.I wonder if I have a pic somewhere....
I love the attention to detail on that last cake! The strewn clothes, the blades of grass, the dude's look of ecstasy...I didn't have a divorce cake. Bummer. Such a missed opportunity.
Regan - there's always next time! heh
you guys have checked out cakewrecks.blogspot.com, right? i don't remember if i found that site from here or from Mental Floss... ahh, cake art. :)
I love the last cake
These cakes are great! Why should weddings get all the fun. Love the cakes with the murdered hubbys.
Dammit! All I got were a beer and a hug... Cake would have been very cool. Especially with the attention to detail on these. Very cool. I like the first one best - but I'm not into drowning :)
