Collective Nouns For Animals

A cool idea from Amy The Mom: odd names for groups of various animals. Not an all-inclusive list, of course, but just of the more unusual ones.

    There are other ones missed:

    A murder of crows
    A cry of hounds
    A rag of colts
    A kindle (or litter) of kittens
    An exaltation of larks

    etc etc

    Some are too familiar:

    A bouquet of flowers
    A herd of elephants
    A school of fish

    And what of making up some, too:

    A smell of farts
    An acquiescence of bureaucrats
    A greed of bankers
    A liar of politicians
    A vacuity of celebrities

    A slack of developers
